Pecan - Chihuahua-Unknown Mix Female Dog For Adoption in Plainfield, Illinois, USA

Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 550.

Pecan is a chi mix puppy (born mid-July 2026) who is a tiny 4.6-pound bundle of pure joy! This sweet girl is adventurous, inquisitive, and friendly — she's ready to explore everything and loves making new friends, whether they have two legs or four. Pecan plays with the energy and enthusiasm only a puppy can bring, and once she's tuckered herself out, she's happiest snuggled up in a cozy lap for a well-deserved nap. She's great with other dogs and cats, and she's very comfortable around children, making her a wonderful fit for active families. Pecan is highly food motivated and is already learning commands like "sit" — she's eager to please and loves the training process. She gets along with everyone and has that special puppy charm that makes it hard not to fall instantly in love. Fair warning: Pecan is still working on potty training and doesn't quite have it down yet, so she'll need a family committed to consistency and patience as she learns. She thrives on playtime and exercise, so she'd do best with people who can give her the activity and attention she craves as she grows. If you're ready for an adventurous, affectionate little girl who will fill your days with love and laughter (and a little bit of puppy chaos), Pecan is waiting to meet you! If you are interested in adopting/meeting this pup , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: .starfishanimalrescue/adopt/dog-adoption-application .
