Description
Dog Breed: Pug (short coat). Meet Dalu ❤️ | 6½-Year-Old Pug There are some dogs who come into my life and make me wonder how they ever survived what they’ve been through. Dalu is one of those dogs. TLC K9 Rescue took this beautiful girl in after her owner was finished breeding her. She was used to give birth multiple times so her owner could profit from her labor. Her little body was expected to keep producing, and honestly, I don’t know how she survived it. No, I know how she survived.. God was watching over her because He has a plan for Dalu Dalu, is something special and whoever helps us by fostering or adopting her will be blessed ❤️ I admire this beautiful girl so much because after everything she has endured, she hasn't lost her faith in people. She hasn't lost her ability to love ❤️ She is affectionate, playful, and ready to finally experience what it feels like to simply be a loved dog Dalu does well with submissive dogs and enjoys having a playful friend, but understandably you will need to feed her separately. This all stems from never having enough food to eat. Poor baby was always starving Note: she isn't a big fan of cats She has already been vetted, vaccinated, and dewormed, and we ran a 4DX test and full blood panel to make sure we understood her health needs. Thankfully, everything came back within normal ranges. Now we just need to find Dalu what she has been waiting for all along — a safe foster home or, even better, a family of her own. ❤️ Dalu still needs a little more vetting. She needs to be spayed, hernia repar and a dental, and TLC K9 Rescue will absolutely continue and complete all of her veterinary care. She will not be left without the care she needs. After spending years being valued only for what she could produce, Dalu deserves to finally know that her value has nothing to do with puppies. She deserves to be loved simply because she is Dalu. ❤️ If you can open your home and heart to this sweet girl, please apply to foster or adopt Dalu: .tlck9rescue Please share Dalu’s story. Sometimes one share is all it takes to find the family who was meant to find her. ❤️ TLC K9 Rescue — giving dogs like Dalu the second chance they deserve. ❤️

Overview:
The Pug, a charming and ancient breed, boasts a fascinating history believed to originate in China as early as 206 BC. Known for its distinctive flat, wrinkled face, large, expressive eyes, and tightly curled tail, the Pug's compact, muscular build is instantly recognizable. Despite their somewhat serious expression, Pugs are famously friendly, playful, and affectionate companions, often described as "clowns" due to their comedic antics. Their relatively low exercise requirements and adaptability make them excellent pets for apartment dwellers and devoted family members, thriving on human companionship. However, prospective owners should be aware of certain health considerations, primarily their susceptibility to respiratory issues due to their brachycephalic (short-nosed) structure, as well as potential eye problems and joint conditions. With proper care and attention, the Pug offers years of unwavering loyalty and delightful companionship.
