Dog Breed: Terrier / English Bulldog / Mixed. We are excited to introduce Coretta (AKA Cora), a 2.5-year-old, 40-pound, spayed female English Bulldog. She is a little wiggle butt with every new person she meets. She is a perfect companion who walks well on leash. She is a little wiggle butt with every new person she meets. Cora is eager to show you all the love she has in her stocky body. Cora loves dog friends but will not be placed in a home with small dogs. Introductions to new dogs should always be made in an intentional and safe manner. Cora also enjoys the company of chickens! She has not been introduced to cats or young children since coming into rescue. Along with being great with her leash manners, Coretta is crate trained and house trained. She is very food motivated and loves treats. Coretta will do best in a home where she can practice the fine art of rest and relaxation with her new family as she is a low/medium energy gal. It is also important to remember that although Coretta is housetrained, accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. She would enjoy daily, moderate exercise to keep her 40-pound girlish figure but is not a dog who will be your running partner or next sport dog. Her short legs just would not be able to keep up. Her legs also make it difficult for her to manage steps and/or stairs. She will make a wonderful companion for a family looking to give and receive lots of love!
