Canelo - Golden Retriever Male Dog For Adoption in Glendale , Arizona, USA

Dog Breed: Golden Retriever (medium coat).

CANELO is available! 26-054 Canelo is a big, handsome and very strong 2-year-old intact male Golden Retriever. AGR will handle having his neuter done once he is placed in a home. His finder had 2 dogs and he told us that Canelo was friendly with them. However, he has been reactive to other dogs while in our care; he will likely do best as an only dog. He has not been around kids or cats. At 90 lbs, he is sturdy and would likely knock down small children or frail elderly adults. He walks well on a leash until he sees something that distracts him; he would benefit from some obedience training. Canelo is crate-trained and we think house-trained. Canelo is a happy, people-oriented boy and has a good attitude. He loves to fetch balls (he brings them back!) and play in the kiddie swimming pool. If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other available AGR dogs, and want to know more about the process, please click here. Note: WE DO NOT ADOPT OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA. All potential fosters and adopters must fill out an application, pay an application fee and have a home visit in order to be considered for any dog.
