Kohannya in Ukranian refers to a feeling of deep, true love for someone, often in the context of taking care of someone. That is what our dogs do, they deeply love and take care of their people. We breed no more than one litter per year. Our focus is 100% on bettering the breed with temperament and health coming first. We are not a kennel. We do not have or breed any other breed. We do not ship puppies but can do home drop off within the USA. Our puppies have that almost perfect black Russian temperament meaning they are naturally amazing guard dogs and could be trained professionally, but they are not so driven that they won't snuggle up with you all day if they could. These are truly spectacular animals, unlike any dog you've ever met or seen before. We'd like to think ours are a cut above. We do not breed "puppy by the pound" so if you're just looking for the biggest BRT you can find, move on. The giant versions you see in the states are often severely unhealthy, too large to do their job, and have not been bred correctly. We are stickers for DNA, genetic testing, medical testing, and ensuring only the best are used to further the breed.
