Great Bernese dogs are a Bernese Mountain Dog / Great Pyrenees combination. The Great Bernese are a purposeful cross, bred to combine the Bernese’s gentle, family-oriented temperament with the Great Pyrenees’ calm confidence and guardian instincts. They are known for being devoted, personable, and a well-suited dog to family life when properly trained and socialized. They are typically large, affectionate companions that do best with consistent training, early socialization, and a home prepared for a big-breed dog. Our breeding program is focused on our 2nd generation Great Bernese puppies (F2). Which means both parents are Great Bernese and the litter represents the second generation of this cross. We have gotten our breeding pair registered as the first to be registered with the CKC under "Great Bernese" and not under a Misc Dog.
