The Svetlik Family: Our family resides on a modest homestead, deep in the heart of Central Texas, about 30 minutes east of Temple. John is a US Marine Corps combat veteran whose family has been raising livestock and farming in Milam County for 6 (going on 7) generations. Bonnie is a stay-at-home mommy and primary caregiver for our fur-babies. We breed salt & pepper mini schnauzers for family pets. Our Puppy Parents: Our adult female is now retired from breeding, but our adult male is in-tact and available for stud services (fee is open to negotiation). Heidi is technically "black & white parti" colored, according to her original breeder paperwork. She's petite and short, with a coarse wiry coat, hitting about 13 lbs on a heavy day. She is an adorable blend of sweet and shy, and loves nothing more than to cuddle on the sofa with Bonnie or one of her Lamb Chop "babies", when her littles have outgrown their mommy. Günter (aka "Gunner") is salt & pepper colored, with a thick, soft, curly-ish white & gray coat. He's a big boy beefcake, and good eater, so he weighed in around 18 lbs last time we checked. He's sharp as a tack, quick to alert us when a vehicle is approaching, and a sucker for greenies and belly scratches. Our Puppy Babies: Our puppies are like children to us, so they are well fed, well groomed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and spoiled rotten! We try not to bond too closely with them, as we want them to form those attachments with their fur-ever families, but they are such sweet babies, it's so hard not to give them a big cuddle from time to time! They don't get much exposure to other dogs, outside of vet/groomer visits, but we have lots of outdoor barn cats that they tend to get along well with. We currently have two males left from Heidi's last litter. They are 16 weeks old (about 3.5 months) at the time of writing this profile listing. (Note: The puppy photos in our profile are of Gunner as a baby, NOT the current litter!)
