Posted Breed: Springer Spaniel / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Lincoln, sweet boy, was adopted and loving life until he found himself back homeless again. Unfortunately, his child developed allergies so Lincoln was surrendered. Lincoln has beat all of the odds and we know his forever home is out there. He came to rescue as a baby, strong parvovirus positive, skin and bones, with ulcers covering his mouth making eating impossible. He beat all of the odds and won the fight for life. He deserves his forever home! He's guessed to be a spaniel mix and is a gorgeous and fun loving boy. He's full of personality and his ears are just too cute for words. Lincoln is approximately 8 months old. He is good with cats in his home (not a fan outside), children, and other dogs. Lincoln deserves a forever home. How can you pass up ears like that? If interested in meeting and potentially adopting, please visit forbellessake.org for the adoption application. Adoption fee is $175. He is fully vetted to include dewormings, vaccinations, spay, and microchip. *Fenced yard or leash only with access to a dog park is required for adoption.

Posted Breed: English Springer Spaniel / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Updated: 11/12/2016 Hello there. My name is Eddie. I weigh about 40 lbs at just 11 months old. I am a confident boy and love all the dogs and people I meet at the dog park. Foster mom takes me and my foster brother there every day because she says it is important that us young pups get socialized and have the freedom to run, play and have fun. She was so impressed when I went running ahead with my foster brother and she couldn’t see us, she called my name and I came dashing back as quick as I could. And this was just on the second day she brought me home. She says I am real good with commands like that, including sitting. She says “sit” and my butt drops right down to the floor. When she first saw me I had lots of puppy energy. She realized that putting me in a kennel all day would just add to my puppy excitement. So she took a chance and let me have full run of the house with my foster brother. Boy was she amazed. Not only was I so much calmer for the rest of the evening, but guess what, I had no accidents in the house. She wanted me to share her tip and I will because this is a tip I love. Her tip is to make sure I have lots of bones and toys because, well first of all I love them and secondly because I am a pup so they keep me mentally active and busy. I live in a house with four cats, can you believe that. I think they are so interesting. I have discovered that three of them don’t run from me so I ignore them. But boy oh boy there is one cat who gets all nervous and runs and I think it is so much fun to chase her. Not that I mean any harm mind you. I am a pup and I am all about fun and games. My foster mom tells me “No” and she says I listen so well and stop almost immediately. When she corrects me I try so hard to say I am sorry. I get super close to her, sometimes even sitting on her lap and give her tons of kisses. My kisses always work because she always forgives me. And I promise her I will try real hard next time. And I do. She says that even after only being with her for three days she can see how hard I am trying and how much I have improved. She says that this is a perfect sign that with time I am going to be the best dog to have. She says that I will find my forever home in no time at the rate I am going with how I am always aiming to please. She says that all I need is lots of kisses, love, a little training and some patience and I will make the perfect family pup. Foster mom says I have more love to give then any of her previous fosters. And that means a lot because she says they were all just the sweetest most loving dogs ever. I love it here with her but I really want a family and maybe even a doggie brother or sister of my own. Could that be you? Come and meet me and I know you will fall in love too! Adoption Fee: $400 We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433 ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out.

Posted Breed: Springer Spaniel / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Hello! My name is Gwen! I am a sweet and active 6 year-old Springer Spaniel/Lab mix, who is always smiling. I was dumped with her mom in the middle of a highway median 3 years ago and my mom got adopted right away. People here in TX are prejudice and don't like black dogs too much, which we just can’t see why, since I just LOVE hanging out with my humans where ever you are. I love going for walks and loves to play with her people. I will stick by your side and will be happy just to follow you around while you do chores or work around the house. I am house trained and crate trained. I am pretty picky about my doggy friends and would prefer to be your main doggy squeeze, rather than share the limelight, but I can tolerate a submissive personality and dog larger than me, that doesn't bark incessantly and that is larger than me. (I don't like the dainty, noisy foo foo dogs) I do not like being left alone in the yard by myself and I am afraid of thunder storms and fireworks. I would prefer a family with a stay-at-home or work-at-home parent or a retired, active person, so I can hang out with you all day. I get along better with polite older kids. Gwen does get along with cats. L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with Paws Without Borders and other rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees. You can contact us directly at info@dogdiggityrescue.com, visit our website at www.dogdiggityrescue.com.
