Lambeau is a beautiful adult Golden Retriever who is looking for the perfect new home. He is well trained in basic obedience and responds well to structure, routine, and confident handling. Lambeau is loyal, intelligent, and bonds strongly with his people. He does best in calm environments with clear expectations and consistent leadership. However, Lambeau has demonstrated resource guarding behaviors, particularly around food. Despite extensive professional training, this behavior has not improved enough for us to safely manage it in a home with young children. For that reason, he must be placed in a child free home with an experienced dog owner who understands behavioral management and is willing to continue working with him. Lambeau is very well behaved otherwise and an easy dog to live with. He is fully house trained, loves his crate, he is non destructive, doesnt chew on household items, and knows his basic obedience commands very well.
