Despite their small stature, Poms possess a bold and inquisitive temperament; they are intelligent, eager to please, and can be surprisingly independent. They adapt well to apartment living due to their size, though they still benefit from regular walks and mental stimulation. While generally good with older, respectful children, their delicate build makes them more suitable for families who understand their needs.
