Description
New best friend, Feather, Gus, & Dale. We are Pug Schnauzer mix. Mom is 100% Pug & dad is Schnauzer/mini Poodle. We are 11 weeks old & our days consist of playing w/ siblings & taking naps. Because we are still young, my mom wants everyone to know that we will need help w/potty-training because we are new at it. Being 50% pug means we will shed. Even if you think maybe we won't because of our Schnauzer genes, it's better to assume that we will, because pugs shed a lot, so we won't be good in a home w/someone with allergies. We are very playful. We are not crate-trained, although we do sleep in a playpen w/each other. We’ve never been alone before, so we will probably cry until we get used to it or maybe someone will adopt who has a friend for us. Mom expects to get lots of interested families for us, so we apologize if we don't respond right away. We are neutered, chipped & vaccinated. Tell us about you. Your location, your current pets, your work schedule & any info about your household. We hope you will ask for us to visit you to see if we are everything you are looking for!
Items Included: Dewormed, Vaccinated, chipped, neutered.

Breed overview
Overview:
The delightful Schnug, a charming hybrid crossing the affectionate Pug with the spirited Miniature Schnauzer, offers a unique blend of traits. Originating from designer breed efforts, Schnugs typically inherit a sturdy, compact build, often weighing between 14-25 pounds. Their coats can vary, ranging from the short, smooth texture of a Pug to the wiry, double coat of a Schnauzer, with common colors including black, fawn, silver, or salt-and-pepper. Temperamentally, they are generally described as playful, intelligent, and loyal companions, often exhibiting both the Pug’s laid-back charm and the Schnauzer’s alert curiosity. This makes them highly adaptable, well-suited for apartment living and thriving as a beloved member of families with children or other pets, provided they receive early socialization. While generally healthy, potential health considerations can include respiratory issues (brachycephalic syndrome) and certain skin conditions, common to their parent breeds, emphasizing the importance of responsible breeding and regular veterinary care.
