Description
Gus, otherwise known as GusGus or Gusey. Sweet 5 month old pug /schnauzer mix looking for a loving home. 20lbs and already neutered and complete with shots & chipped. Please note that since his mom is 100% pug, he will shed quite a bit! He will not be a good fit for a household with allergies. He thrives in the comfort of humans so he would love a home with somebody that is home with him often. If you need a pup lounging on your lazy-boy chair with you, Gus is your man. If you are interested, Please reply with a bit of information about yourself: your general location, current pets, work schedule, and a quick overview of your household. We want to ensure that he goes to the best possible home. If I’m not what you’re looking for, check out my brother Feather contact: allcreatureswelove@gmail.com

Breed overview
Overview:
The delightful Schnug, a charming hybrid crossing the affectionate Pug with the spirited Miniature Schnauzer, offers a unique blend of traits. Originating from designer breed efforts, Schnugs typically inherit a sturdy, compact build, often weighing between 14-25 pounds. Their coats can vary, ranging from the short, smooth texture of a Pug to the wiry, double coat of a Schnauzer, with common colors including black, fawn, silver, or salt-and-pepper. Temperamentally, they are generally described as playful, intelligent, and loyal companions, often exhibiting both the Pug’s laid-back charm and the Schnauzer’s alert curiosity. This makes them highly adaptable, well-suited for apartment living and thriving as a beloved member of families with children or other pets, provided they receive early socialization. While generally healthy, potential health considerations can include respiratory issues (brachycephalic syndrome) and certain skin conditions, common to their parent breeds, emphasizing the importance of responsible breeding and regular veterinary care.
