Posted Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Bulldog / Mixed. Age: 4 years Size: 70 lbs Estimated breed: Pit bull/Bulldog mix Steffie was found as a stray in rural South Carolina. The dog she was found with had a harness on, so we assume they had a home and family at some point. Unfortunately, no one came to claim Steffie, so the shelter became her new home. After a month in the shelter, volunteers noticed that Steffie was pregnant, and close to giving birth. The shelter is no place for a family to grow, so we brought her into rescue so she and her babies could find forever homes! Only 12 hours after arriving in foster care, Steffie gave birth to 11 beautiful babies. She was a wonderful mama who took great care of all her babies, who have all since joined their forever homes. Steffie is around 4 years old and weighs 70 lbs. She is great with all other dogs and loves people, happily greeting new friends with a tail wag and a soulful gaze into their eyes, begging to be pet. She loves kids and is gentle and sweet with them. She is looking for a home without cats - they are just too fun to chase! After everything she's been through, Steffie deserves to be the baby of a family and find a forever home who loves her unconditionally. She promises to repay them with endless cuddles and love.
