Posted Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (medium coat). Please contact foster parent at jenherggmail Louie spent the first 6 years of his life in less than ideal circumstances. Now heâs fully recovered and excited to start living his best life! Whatever lucky family gets to show him just how good life can be will get all of his endless snuggles, kisses, and love in gratitude. Louie is a very polite boy and a quick learner. He catches onto routines easily, and he doesn't need a ton of exercise (though he's up for any adventure you want to try). Even after months of a steady diet he still can't contain his excitement at meal time, so he spins in happy circles until he can dig in. He's around 65 lbs at his healthy weight, but he's pretty convinced that's still within lap-dog parameters. He loves to cuddle, but you can tell he hasn't always gotten the opportunity because he can be super awkward trying to get as close as possible. Some more about Louie: â¢House trained â¢Quiet + VERY eager to please â¢Friendly with other dogs â¢Loves to play â¢Good on a leash â¢Cuddling is his favorite! â¢Learning how to play with toys â¢Medium energy â¢Likes meeting new people, but focuses and checks in with his 'favorite' human (he bonds easily, especially to the person feeding him) â¢Knows 'sit' and is working on 'stay' (but it's so tempting because he just wants to be next to you!) â¢Very food motivated and loves treats! â¢He's very focused on cats, but with proper training would very likely be fine Take this sweet boy home for a night, and you'll quickly see how much love he's ready to give!
