Description
Posted Breed: Pit Bull Terrier. We received a call about Wally from a senior citizen who said he showed up at her house severely imaciated and suffering from a gunshot to his back leg. Our vet was unable to save his leg and it had to be amputated, but Wally doesn't even know he is different from the other dogs. He runs around happily playing and even jumps into the van all on his own and loves to go for car rides. He's got so much spunk and personality. His strong will kept him alive during the snow storm in February when temperatures were in the single digits. He does need to be fed alone since he has the history of being starved he behaves aggressive during meal time. He gets along with some dogs and loves to play. Currently, he is being fostered in Arkansas, but we do have transport to Rhode Island. He is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee for Rhode Island adopters is $450, and includes transport to Rhode Island and a health certificate from his vet. NOTE: We are not registered in Massachusetts and are unable to adopt to residents of MA.
