Posted Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (short coat). Smiley-faced Thor is a handsome Pit Bull boy, 19 months old and weighing 58 pounds, who needs a new home due to his owner's health issues. His mom loves him and she wants the best for him so she will hold onto him until he finds a safe and loving place to go. Thor walks well on a leash and goes out several times a day on leash. He gets anxious when crated so he whines and cries - when you let him out, he gets the "zoomies". Thor watches out the window for his mama's car when she is out. When she comes home he greets her with his toy and does a proud march but he gets overexcited if she's gone for long periods of time (like more than 5 hours). He will have the zoomies and he needs to run it off. Thor likes to cuddle and sleep at Mom's feet. He also loves to gives kisses and wants to be chased so he will snatch something and run (Mom is NOT amused!) But Thor is goofy and sweet, just looking for someone he can love! Could it be you? Mom suggests no little kids because he jumps. He has been around other dogs and is fine. We do not know how he would be with cats in the home. He is up to date on all his vaccines, too. Thor is very lovable and will follow you around - he will be your new best friend if you let him! Thor is NOT with 11th Hour Rescue but we are helping him find a new home.
