Age: 3 years Size: 57 lbs Estimated breed: Pit bull terrier/Labrador retriever mix Oz was found as a stray in rural South Carolina in the heat of the summer. No one ever showed up to claim him, so he remained at the shelter while he waited for his way out. Unfortunately he waited for nine long months, just wondering when someone would step up to save him. As soon as a foster home opened up we pulled this boy to safety to find his forever home! Oz is around 3 years old and weighs 53 lbs. At best guess, he is some kind of Pit bull terrier and Labrador retriever mix, but we can never know for sure! He is a playful, bouncy boy who loves all people and all dogs he's met. He was even used as the "tester" dog at the shelter to check the dog friendliness of other dogs! Oz would love to impressive his future forever family by showing off how smart he is in obedience training. He would love to go on long walks and adventures with his family but is also content to spend an afternoon lounging on the couch. We have not yet seen Oz around children or cats.
