Posted Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). wagoninn.rescuegroups Cash is a sweet pup who was found as a stray in Louisiana in terrible shape. His Louisiana foster gave him lots of love and care and nursed him back to health. He is a happy, playful pup now who LOVES other dogs. He is currently living with cats however plays with them like a dog so most cats will not appreciate his attention! Cash can be nervous with new people and needs a minute to get to know new friends. We think he was abused in the past. He even makes a little noise sometimes when he gets nervous. But he is not aggressive, just needs a little time and TLC. We think he is a pit bull mix maybe with lab but this is just our best guess. He needs a little more training on common puppy issues like jumping up and walking nicely on the leash. His foster says he is one of the easiest dogs she has ever fostered! Cash has been fixed, microchipped and he is up to date on vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm in February 2022. Cash was found with a horrific skin infection and lots of hair loss but he was lovingly nursed back to health by our sister rescue in Louisiana. Cash is on Apoquel for his skin and a special diet and he is doing GREAT! He recently also got a Cytopoint injection to help with food/environmental allergies. He may grow out of the allergy issue or he may always require special diet and/or medication. Cash's adoption fee is $450. How to Adopt Me!
