Posted Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed. PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 2/24/24 Ollie’s little stub comes in handy when trying to punch his foster sister! Check out the video! Ollie came into rescue when he was a tiny little guy, after his mama bit his foot off. Poor baby. We don't know what caused her to do that. Maybe it was damaged from birth? We don't know, but what we do know is that it doesn't slow Ollie down one bit! Our vet has been keeping an eye on it and does not feel that the leg should be amputated at this point. A callous has formed and he still uses the leg kind of like a kick stand. It's not hurting anything and since he uses it some we are leaving it alone. We don't know what breed Ollie is, he is very mixed. He will probably be around 40 lbs when grown, based on his current size. He is about 4 months old now. Ollie is very loving, playful, and energetic. He gets along with other dogs and would be fine with kids. He is fostered in a home with a cat. Please don't let his injury turn you off. He has so much love to give and he is as deserving as anyone of a good home. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $125-$140 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
