Posted Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Don't forget!! We are currently open by appointment only. This is to control the traffic in the building at one time. If you would like to look at the cats/dogs for adoption, or if you need to relinquish or to do any other business, please message our FB page or call us at 304-267-8389 to schedule an appointment. If you see a specific pet for adoption on our FB page we can always set up a specific meet and greet for that as well. Meet BIG Betty! She was with our friends down at Animal Control but they are so full and Big Betty is with us now. She weighs approximately 100 pounds. She doesn't seem to mind other large breed dogs. She does not like cats. Big Betty loves toys and if they squeak, even better! She is housetrained and rides well in a vehicle. Betty is not much of a jumper. me. She is calm mannered and just likes to lay around and take naps. Big Betty is housetrained, walks great on a leash, does not tear things up or jump all over you. She's a very respectful girl. As you can see she is getting depressed being here at the shelter. She just wants a place to call home! If you already have a dog, bring them with you for a 'meet and greet'!! Adoption fee is $175,which includes spay, vaccines and microchip! cash or credit card. Mon.-Sat. 10-4 We understand not everyone can adopt a pet. Some homes are full, some homes do not allow certain pets and some have lifestyles that can't handle a pet right now. You can still help. Sharing pictures on FB, volunteering, or just coming in and sponsoring part of the adoption fee for when the pet is adopted. This helps a lot. No amount is too small to donate towards the adoption fee. If you would like to help sponsor, speak to one of the staff. Especially the cats and kittens need help (since we usually have so many!) Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank You!
