This super sweet and loving dog has come a long way since her shy beginnings at AHS. Xena's personality has truly blossomed! She loves going on walks and meeting new people. While she gets along well with other dogs, Xena would thrive as the only dog in the house, enjoying all the attention. Xena does get along with some dogs outside of the house. She'd do best in a home with older, respectful children. Could this warrior princess be your new best friend? Make an appointment to meet this sweetheart! All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
