CSB from many other breeders. It’s much more than color, flat faces, wrinkles, massive chest, big head or championship show history, it’s about the breeder understanding the key components of breeding. With over 15 years breeding championship stock, Chris and I fully understand the breed and utilized good breeding standards to produce pups we are proud to have the CSB name.
We take great care in assuring we start with solid stock. We believe in the concept of function follows form. Before, color, before temperament, before anything else, is structure! CSB goes well beyond most breeders in this quest.
1) We hip x-ray all of our breeding animals and compared to the OFA standards.
2) We DNA test our dogs for Degenertive Myelopathy and Uric Acid
3) Before each breeding our dogs are vet checked for soundness
4) Because we understand breeding programs, we choose our breeding animals very carefully to produce a healthy and vibrate pup. We “pair” breeding animals in an attempt to correct the “flaws” of either animal.
