While good health and genetics are an absolute priority, we really focus on raising puppies that will be exceptional family dogs. Our litters are born and reared inside of our home, and from birth, they're loved and interact with our family, in support of the primary care given by their mother, our family dog, Lucy. AKC registered, Lucy has her Embark DNA genetic testing, and her hip clearances. She is fifth generation in a long line of wonderful family Goldens. We've been able to follow many of the dogs from the line, which has proven excellent health and longevity (some dogs living to 16 years!), as we're so grateful that most of our buyers stay in touch and send us updates.
The father is "Jack," and he's a beautiful European Golden from Ukraine and comes from a champion line that boasts a perfect health history. He brings excellent genetic diversity to our puppies, which is very significant considering the recent decline in the breed's health and longevity in the USA. Registered with both the AKC and UKU, he has his OFA hips and elbow certificates and Embark DNA genetic testing and is considered an absolute top-tier sire in the world.
Our puppies go home vet-checked, dewormed, and with their first immunizations. We also pan potty train our litters and introduce crate training, which greatly helps with any further training. Along with health clearances and DNA genetic testing, we also have pedigrees for both Lucy and Jack, and buyers get puppy AKC registration paperwork, a one-year health guarantee, and a bill of sale.
