Description
Posted Breed: Australian Shepherd (long coat). Faye was an owner surrender due to no fault of her own. She is about a year old. She previously lived with a younger child & tolerated them well. She is head shy, meaning reaching over her head is something she is initially uncomfortable with. She will SMILE when she's uncomfortable with this & then try to remove herself from your reach. However, once you start petting her she allows pets on the head as she knows you are safe. Faye is a bit shy & can take some time to warm up, but once she does she's just the sweetest! She's not as high energy as we expected, but she will need a home with breed knowledge or the commitment to keeping her active. Faye previously lived with a cat but they had to be kept separated due to Faye showing too much interest in that cat. Faye does not like other dogs & will need to be the only dog. She is spayed, microchipped, & up to date on vaccinations.
