Posted Breed: Beagle (short coat). Adoption Fee: 250.. Handsome BOOMER is our family guy. He loves kids. Loves loves loves. He follows them everywhere and loves to be part of whatever they are doing. He's a lively, fun 7 year old 33 pound beagle boy, fine with other dogs, cats and people of all ages. Boomer also loves to go for walkies and would be a great companion for a walker. When playtime is over, Boomer loves a good rocking chair and yes, he know how to rock it all by himself. Boomer came to us after he lost his home through no fault of his own, just some unfortunate family circumstances. He's been well loved and received excellent veterinary care throughout his life. Boomer is housebroken and crate trained. Boomer needs a physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his beagle nose into trouble. He is a happy-go-lucky, food motivated beagle. He's housebroken and dog and cat friendly. . If you'd like to meet Boomer, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Boomer at our weekly adoption event Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
