Posted Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier / Mastiff / Mixed (medium coat). With some grass to run and play in Eva reaches peak cuteness: ears flapping, tongue out, and a big smile on her face. What's not to love?! Eva came into the shelter on 6/23 as a stray with a microchip. Her previous owner never reclaimed her despite multiple attempts to contact them, so now this gorgeous girl has set her sights on finding a new home. Eva seems to already be potty trained. She's playful and energetic at first, but after getting some energy out she's much more focused and ready to show off the fact that she knows how to sit on command (for a treat of course). She's an independent girl who is more than capable of keeping herself entertained if she has a yard to run in, but she enjoys people and being pet as well. Eva's fosters had this to say about her. `Eva is a huge sweetheart. She gets along extremely well with our other (smaller) dog, even encouraging him to play without becoming overbearing or aggressive. She knows commands such as come, sit, and shake and is house trained (was able to hold her bladder for the 9-10 hours we were at work). Although she would love to, she stays off the bed and couch after we told her no. We only had small treats and she was so gentle taking them from us. She is very good on walks after she lets out some initial excitement and behaves really well in a crate. She LOVES scratches and a nice warm dog bed. We would be keeping Eva ourselves if we were in a position to adopt another dog because she truly is a great addition to the family and she deserves a loving home!`
