I'm a 3-year-old boxer mix, and my name is King—I guess you could say I'm on a quest to live up to that regal title. When they found me, I was a mess, scared of my own shadow. People had done some pretty awful things to me, things I'd rather not dwell on. But I made a promise to myself: never again would anyone hurt me. I built up walls, thick and tall, to keep the world at bay. But then, something changed. Slowly but surely, the kind souls here began to chip away at those walls. It wasn't easy—I'll admit, I'm still a bit wary. But I'm learning to trust again, one treat and belly rub at a time. And you know what? I'm even learning some cool tricks along the way! Now, here's the thing: I'm ready for my next adventure, and that means finding my forever home.
