Posted Breed: Brittany Spaniel. Located in Greene New York born June 20,2024 with a homing date of August 15,2024. Our AKC Brittany puppies make great hunters and home companions. They are raised in our home with lots of socialization. Lucys mothers 4 generation: 4 Champion and 1 Field Champion. Lucy sires 4 generation: 17 Field Champion, 1 District Champion, 6 Champion. Lucy is up on her shots; heart worm meds and Lucy has had the Lymes vaccine and is heart worm free. Both parents are AKC registered. The sire is Loco Pointer from Upland & Antler Kennels and game preserve. Puppy tails are docked by our vet. They will be vet inspected for health and shots; a copy will be given to you. You will be given their vaccination record, worming record, AKC litter registration and AKC registration application. I will also give you a list of commands I have used. If you wish a full tall I require payment in advance and it will be a male. They will have been worked on "come" leave, their name (if given), in and out. The in and out is used to encourage eliminating outdoors. This does not mean they are house broke. Ignoring loud noise starts at 3 weeks and is increased to a 22 blank as they age. The sudden loud noise training is an advantage to both hunter and house pet. I start working them on wing and reinforce the pointing instinct. Should you be a hunter your ground work is started. Past litters have had pups in the field as early as 6 months pointing, tracking and retrieving grouse and woodcock. Those worked on Pheasants point well but are too small to retrieve in tough ground cover. I start my dogs on water retrieval at 6 months. I use my Brittanys for both upland and water fowl. Our dogs are both house pets and hunters. We do not use an outside kennel to house the dogs or pups. I encourage you to ask any question you might have. We take pride in the puppies we have raised and the joy they have brought to their new owners. We encourage you to come and pick your puppy or visit as he/she grows. Final transfer will be in person.
