Fiona found herself unwanted in a high kill shelter in West Texas She is good with dogs and kids, cats are unknown. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. . This smiley girl is Fiona. She is such a joy to foster and would make the perfect addition to any family. Fiona’s three favorite things are people, couches and cars. She loves all people, and is patient with kids . She shows her love by covering you with slobbery kisses. Showing off toys to her people and playing tug-o-war with them is fun. She does resource guard toys and treats so when playing with other dogs they need to be removed and the interactions need to be watched. While she is fine with other dogs, including at her foster home and she played well with other dogs while in boarding, being the only dog in the house would be the most ideal situation. No cats please. Fiona thinks couches are the best place to snuggle with her people, and sleep away the day. She will patiently wait for you to join her on the couch, and will stare you down with her adorable face as a way to communicate it is time to sit down. A bonus is she is not interested in human food and will not try to share snacks with you while on the couch. Wish my resident dogs would take note that this is appropriate behavior! She also loves a car ride. While she does well on walks she will approach any parked car and would happily jump in. A previous foster drove for Uber and Fiona accompanied them for a ride checking off her daily to do list of a car ride and interacting with as many people as possible. During the day she is left unsupervised while I work in a different part of the home. She does not get into anything she is not supposed to, and spends a great deal of time sleeping.
