Posted Breed: Chihuahua (short coat). Online Adoption Application › Man oh man what a sweetie!!!! Meet Scrappy Doodlebug – an incredible senior lady looking for her retirement home. Scrappy came into the rescue along with 6 other seniors after her family was arrested in a criminal investigation. As you can see from her pictures, Scrappy needs to shed quite a few pounds…. but hey, after the pandemic, who among us doesn’t!!! She seems eager to stay on an exercise regimen and is surprisingly spry/active, despite her age and bread loaf exterior! She really loves going for walks and runs like a gazelle chasing after balls in the backyard! It’s quite amazing to witness and gives us all the hope we need to get back to our pre-pandemic weight. Along with her weight loss program, Scrappy is on medication for heart disease. She’ll need regular vet care as well as checkups with a cardiologist to make sure her heart medications are in check. Scrappy is great with all other animals – totally goes about her business as if nobody but YOU is around. If you’re a fan of THE BLEP – Scrappy is your gal. She has that little tip of tongue out nearly all the time…nothing could be cuter! TOTAL PACKAGE WITH THIS LITTLE LADY! The only thing missing is a safe home with loving humans to call her own.
