Posted Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Florida! What is not to love about this tiny girl? There was a DNA test done and she is a Belgian Malinois/Dutch Shepherd mix. How cool is that?! She is on the smaller side. Everyone in rescue that has met her has just loved her. She hasn’t met a person she hasn’t loved. She loves to play fetch and she will actually fetch the ball and not steal it. Her favorite thing is to play in the yard with our big resident dogs. She does prefer larger dogs just due to her prey drive. But hey, she can tree a squirrel in record time. This girl has a killer sense of smell and has been working on scent work. This girl loves to be outside and doesn’t care if it is snowing and cold, she will be out searching for her ball and playing. She has loved hanging out in our camper during the summer while we work outside. She would make the perfect adventure buddy. She is house trained, crate trained and working on leash training(pulls a little). She sleeps all night in her crate without a sound. She does grumble a little at first because she would prefer to be sleeping in my bed. She does great with kids and bigger dogs but no cats. If you like adventures, then this is your gal. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue.
