Posted Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 450. Meet Alvin, the sweet pup who is ready to find his forever home in Minnesota! Found as a stray, Alvin may be a bit shy when meeting new people, but give him some time and he'll warm up to you in no time. Once he opens up, he's all about the fun – playing is his jam, especially a good game of chase in the backyard with his furry pals. Alvin's looking for a patient home that can help him adjust during those first few days. If he's feeling ignored, he might resort to grabbing your pant leg – just his way of saying, "Hey, don't forget about me!" This goofball is crate trained, eager to please, and bursting with playful energy. If you're ready to welcome a furry friend who'll keep you entertained with his antics, Alvin might just be the perfect match for you. Alvin currently lives with big and small dogs, cats, children and adults. He does have a mouthy play style, so very young children may not be good fit currently. Alvin is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 3/9/2024 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 5:30pm and 8:30pm. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accomodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
