My name's Misha, and I'm here to brighten up your world with my wagging tail and endless love! I'm a merry little Cocker Spaniel gal, weighing in at a perfect 18 pounds. Yep, I'm just the right size to fit into your heart and home! At 4 years young, I'm all about embracing life to the fullest and spreading joy wherever I go. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. First things first, I'm a total social butterfly! Cats, dogs, humans—you name it, I love 'em all! I'm the kind of pup who's always up for making new friends and showering them with cuddles and kisses. Now, when it comes to playtime, I'm all in! Give me a stuffed animal or a squeaky toy, and I'll be as happy as can be. Oh, and treats? Don't even get me started! I'm a bit of a foodie, and I'll do just about anything for a tasty snack. But hey, who can blame me? Treats are just too irresistible! Living in a cozy home is where I thrive. I'm doing great with potty training and wil need a little more practice in my forever home to get on a routine. Just so you know that I am a smart gal and I'm not afraid to let you know when nature calls! We are practicing using a bell to go out and I am figuring it out! And while I may not be head over heels for my crate, I'm a good sport about it and will happily hang out inside when needed. Leash walking is a bit of a new adventure for me, so bear with me if I get a little tangled up! But hey, I'm a quick learner and I'm already mastering commands like "sit." Plus, I'm a pro at coming when called, even if I do let out a little bark here and there to announce something exciting. So, what do you say? Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.
