He had some trauma and abuse when he was a baby that warranted animal control confiscating him and his siblings so that is why he is skittish. Jack warms up quicker with women than men, and definitely will need another dog in the home to play with. He LOVES other dogs, big or small. He is crate trained and potty trained. He loves to go for walks. He is scared of squeaky toys and doesn't do fetch but will happily chew on his benebone or a bully stick. (He loves food, treats, chew bones...) Once he warms up he will give kisses and loves to cuddle on the couch or in bed. He will also happily sleep in his crate if his human prefers no dogs in the bed. Jack was born at the end of January 2022 and currently weighs right under 25 lbs. We think he is Dachshund, some kind of Terrier, and maybe some Chihuahua??
