Posted Breed: German Shepherd Dog. Jinx is a sweet, elderly gentleman approximately 10 1/2 years old who is quiet, easy-going, playful, and very well behaved. He is crate trained, house trained, and uses the dog door. This mellow boy isn't destructive, has no interest in digging or nuisance barking, and he walks well on a leash. Jinx has some arthritis in his hips and though he moves well, he is careful getting in and out of the car. He likes people once he is properly introduced because he wants to be sure you know to be extra gentle and careful of his hips. Jinx is often aloof around other dogs. Although he has a low prey drive, we aren't sure how he is around cats. He seems to be indifferent of other animals. Jinx’s dream home would be somewhere quiet with people who will appreciate him in his twilight years. Truly he just wants to be with you whether walking, going for a car ride, or relaxing next to a fire. One more thing, he will be an extra happy boy if you will supply him with a chew toy, or two, or three! Jinx II is a level 2 dog being fostered in the East Bay
