Description
Posted Breed: German Shepherd Dog (medium coat). Affectionate Ash loves playing in leaves, performing his tricks (sit, down, stay, heel, load up, etc), and having another canine companion. He would make a perfect second dog! Ash enjoys taking trips to Home Depot, the vet's office, and boarding facilities to socialize with both people and pups. While he can be shy in large groups, this gregarious boy enjoys taking treats from strangers and has not met a dog he didn't like. Great with kids 6 and up but has not yet had the occasion to meet a child 5 and under. As an adolescent, Ash blossoms with a predictable routine--and toys, lots and lots of toys! He is a very quick learner who, through no fault of his own, is looking for his first and forever home. Would you like to give this boy the same love and affection that he shares with you? Ash is approximately 8 months old, loved completing an obedience course, and is incredibly affectionate. He is now beginning his advanced obedience class. Whether lounging in the living room watching the world go by, or playing with his toys, he fills the space with joy. He has never had an accident in the house, but is not listed as house trained as he does not yet reside in the house full time (due to lack of foster home availability). He has slept in the house overnight next to our bed without accidents and he keeps his 4'x8' kennel immaculate. Ash has begun crate training so that he may take a familiar piece of his life with him to his new home.
