Louis is an absolute sweetheart a total cuddle bug, has a very big and soft heart and should never be handled harshly. He shows absolutely no aggressive behavior of any kind toward human or animal, but he does chase lizards in the yard. Although he has not been around children in my care, he has loved everybody I've introduced him to. He barks when he meets both new people and dogs, but it's out of excitement as apposed to aggression. He just wants to be with whoever he's barking at. So as soon as he has access, he's cool, as long as their definition of cool is high energy playing. He is extremely intelligent, highly trainable and very high energy, but settles down and is very quiet in the house. Additionally, he loves his crate and is both house and dog-door trained. With regard to his health, he's about 1 year old, up to date on shots, is neutered, and has no known health issues. I honestly think he'd be fantastic in a multiple dog home and terrific with any humans or animals big enough that he won't knock them over (he's only about 50 pounds). Those he interacts with should also be high energy enough to not be annoyed by his exuberance, and gentle hearted enough not to hurt his feelings. Finally, his genetic test says he's mostly German Shepherd + "supermutt", and his predicted adult weight is about 55 pounds.
