Mom is Dakota Sport Retriever (half golden retriever, half cocker spaniel), Dad is full cocker spaniel. Puppies will favor the cocker spaniel side, with the benefit of some hybrid vigor! They are adorable, healthy, and very socialized with our kids and other pets. This is our third litter, and we have learned that these puppies grow to be healthy and happy. They love their people, but are sometimes alpha and need boundaries set. If they take after their mom, they are excellent, well behaved puppies, with a bit of energy. If they take after their dad, they have an ornery puppy face, that is still lovable, but may like to chew on things for about the first year. Mom and Dad love being outdoors, going on trail rides with us and our horses, or along ATV rides; They are explorers, but like to stay close to their people too.
