3/29 Update - The litter is really getting the hang of going out potty and I no longer have to carry them out in a box, they follow me right out the door! The health checks went well. Tart and Eclair have small belly button hernias which we are told to continue to try pressing in and may resolve itself. It can be corrected when she is spayed if it does not resolve by then. ---- 3/23 Update - The litter will be brought to the vet on 3/29 for their well check and first round of distemper vaccine. We are happy to withhold the vaccine for any family that wants to reserve a puppy. Booster will be due by 4/26, but families can also choose to discontinue. Puppies are outside at least 4x per day now and are learning to have bowel movements outside with few indoor accidents. Bladder training is a work in progress. Worming treatments are complete. Puppies are still nursing a few times per day but eating meals of puppy food and yogurt mix. --- This beautiful litter of golden mountain doodles was born February 8, 2023 and will be ready to join their new families on April 5. Mother is a merle Bernedoodle with a wonderful calm temperament and a love for visitors and playing with her little sister, a miniature poodle. Father is an established stud Goldendoodle and an all-star at fetch. Both parents have genetic testing to share. Mother is 55 pounds and father is 45 pounds; we expect the males to be in the 50-55 pound range and females to be 45-50 pounds at maturity. These puppies have been raised by hand by our family of four children ages 3 to 9. They have also had interaction with our cats and lots of visitors who have enjoyed watching them grow. We have also been making sure to introduce them to various stimuli as suggested by breeding guides. They have also been groomed regularly with an electric toothbrush to get them acclimated to that sensation.
