A farmer bred together the very best breeds which include German Shepherd, Bernese Mountain Dog, Leonberger, Newfoundland and African Hunting Dog. They are incredibly loyal and protective of their family - wonderful family dogs with the ability to become so very protective in an instant. These puppies are not for first time dog owners, they require a strong pack leader. They require a home with people there throughout the day, as the Hovawart always wants to be by your side, ready to protect. There's estimated to only be 1800 of these rare dogs left in the world.
