For the last 10 years we have been committed to producing Great Danes whom everyone can love. We focus on health, confirmation, and a kind and gentle temperament. Our goal is to provide a healthy happy puppy who will be with you in the years to come.
Who we are: We are a small family who has filled up our hearts and home with Great Danes.
We combine the body styles of the American standard and the European to try to produce big blocky puppies without the eye, ear, and slobber problems. The mom is an America standard harlequin, and the dad is a European blue
All of our dogs are velcro dogs. They want to lean on our sides every minute of every day. They are gentle and loving
Our dogs make fantastic watch dogs. Even though they are friendly and good natured, their bark alone is enough to scare any unwanted visitors away!
We check our dog’s hips, eyes, thyroids and hearts. We also run genetic panels to look for evidence of any possibility of hypothyroidism, Dilated Cardiomyopathy, hip dysplasia and other diseases.
In the Great Dane breed, many health conditions are linked with the color of the coat. We strictly adhere to ethical breeding practices, which mean we only breed approved AKC coat colors. We work with Embark, who partners with Cornell University of Veterinary Medicine, to test each one of our parent dogs to see what colors they carry and what health traits they have. Our color lines are blue, black, harlequin, and merle. We do not breed spot to spot, as that can result puppies with vision and hearing problems.
