Great Pyrenees Litter of Puppies For Sale in CORNVILLE, AZ, USA
These puppies are Great Pyrenees with a small percentage of Maremma Sheepdog and Anatolian Shepard. The mother is a pure-bred Great Pyrenees, and the father is a 75% Great Pyrenees. These puppies are completely livestock guardian. We have nine puppies born on February 17th. There are males and females of both the badger and pure white colorings typical of Great Pyrenees. These puppies will be ready to go to their new homes the week of April 14. Prospective owners must have some amount of land and have some understanding of guardian dog breeds. These are some of the best dogs we have ever had the privilege of owning and we love the Great Pyrenees breed, but they are large dogs, who are bred to think for themselves and to have a job. As such owners need to have space for them and demonstrate that they will be able to care for them and give them a good home. Father
Kodiak was born on April 25th, 2018 and is just over 9 months old. We got him from a breeder in Pheonix as a purebred Great Pyrenees. To confirm his breed we went ahead and had him DNA tested. He is 75% Great Pyrenees, 12.6% Maremma Shepard and 12.6 % Anatolian Shepard. Due to the cross in his blood, he has a very nice coat for Arizona, much shorter than the typical Great Pyrenees coat. He is also very obedient for a guardian dog. He is still a puppy so he tends to be exuberant but he is extremely affectionate and very protective of us and the ranch. He also shows none of the health issues typically associated with the Great Pyrenees, including hip dysplasia.
Mother
Caela is a pure Great Pyrenees who was born on March 11th, 2016. She is just under three years old and this is her first litter of puppies. Caela is a very sweet-tempered dog. She is an excellent guardian. She works with our other two guardians, Shasta our older male, and Kodiak our younger male, as a team to protect our 26-acre ranch. She loves children and is very gentle. We have horses, goats, cows, cats, and chickens on our ranch and Caela has always been great with all of them.
