These f1b standard labradoodles will be on the small side of standard as dad is only about 42 pounds and mom is about 47 pounds. Mom is a registered Labradoodle and is also registered as a Certified Therapy Dog. Dad is an AKC poodle.

THERAPY DOG BLOODLINE. Orange Girl is a beautiful Apricot Parti f1b Labradoodle (75% poodle / 25% lab) who is going to be curly. Mom is part of a registered Therapy Dog team through Alliance of Therapy Dogs and currently works in a local school comforting kids as well as adults. With a proven temperament and 75% poodle we are expecting this little girl to have lots of curls and a great temperament. Dad is registered AKC and Mom is registered ICA. All puppies will be dewormed 4 times and have first set of shots before going to the forever home. Puppies will begin crate training for sleep and potty training and will be doggy door trained by 7 weeks. New families will receive vet records, personalized name tag, puppy food starter, toy, scented blanket and a Take Me Home packet upon pick up at 8 weeks. More information available by request. /

Overview:
The Labradoodle is a mix between the Labrador Retriever and the Poodle. Both breeds are excellent for children and families. The Labradoodle became known in 1988, when Australian breeder Wally Conron crossed the Labrador Retriever and Standard Poodle at the Royal Guide Dogs Associations of Australia in Victoria. Conron's aim was to combine the low-shedding coat of the Poodle with the gentleness and trainability of the Labrador, and to provide a guide dog suitable for people with allergies to fur and dander. Sultan, a dog from this litter, displayed all the qualities Conron was seeking and worked as a guide dog for a woman in Hawaii for ten years. Although Guide Dogs Victoria no longer breed Labradoodles, they are bred by other guide and assistance dog organizations in Australia and other places. The Association for the Blind of Western Australia has introduced Labradoodles into their training program, and their first, Jonnie, graduated in November 2010. Labradoodles are now widely used around the world as guide, assistance, and therapy dogs as well as being popular family dogs. The Norwegian Royal Crown Prince and Princess own a Labradoodle.
