Chevelle is a sweet girl who will steal your heart with her fun, affectionate personality. She LOVES children and adventuring. She likes to go outside to explore, play with her mama, and work on basic leash training (ha! She’s not a fan yet). She’s also learning how to sit on command, come when called and doing great on her litter box potty training too! Chevelle is such a sweetheart. Our pups are ICA registered and produced from carefully selected parents who have been fully tested for any genetic defects. The puppies are being raised in our home with our children and will be vet checked, health certified, and have their first round of vaccinations. They are kept wormed as well. These sweeties will be outgoing, great with other animals and adore people. We start our puppies on potty training and crate training for you and do early neurological stimulation and daily socialization to ensure you receive a comfortable, trainable puppy. A local school often lets us bring puppies (and smiles!) to see the school children and that is always a highlight. Both parents are registered (father with the AKC and mother with the ICA) and have been genetically tested for diseases common to the Labradoodle, Labrador, and Poodle breeds, with clean bills of health from their veterinarians. Mama has an OFA score of excellent on her elbows.

Elwood is a standard poodle who is AKC registered. He has had a full panel of genetic testing done and passes down completely clear genes to his offspring. He is super laid back and loves his family!
Mother
Penny is a standard size Labradoodle of about 70 lbs. She is smart as a whip, affectionate to a fault, and will play fetch till your arm falls off! She is ICA registered and has completely clear genetics also.

Overview:
The Labradoodle is a mix between the Labrador Retriever and the Poodle. Both breeds are excellent for children and families. The Labradoodle became known in 1988, when Australian breeder Wally Conron crossed the Labrador Retriever and Standard Poodle at the Royal Guide Dogs Associations of Australia in Victoria. Conron's aim was to combine the low-shedding coat of the Poodle with the gentleness and trainability of the Labrador, and to provide a guide dog suitable for people with allergies to fur and dander. Sultan, a dog from this litter, displayed all the qualities Conron was seeking and worked as a guide dog for a woman in Hawaii for ten years. Although Guide Dogs Victoria no longer breed Labradoodles, they are bred by other guide and assistance dog organizations in Australia and other places. The Association for the Blind of Western Australia has introduced Labradoodles into their training program, and their first, Jonnie, graduated in November 2010. Labradoodles are now widely used around the world as guide, assistance, and therapy dogs as well as being popular family dogs. The Norwegian Royal Crown Prince and Princess own a Labradoodle.
