Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Beautiful Nyla! This darling Labrador mix is around a year old and she is wonderful! Nyla spent the first year of her life in someone's yard. She was not allowed in the house and was never taken on walks or socialized with people or other dogs. Poor Nyla was left to her own devices since she was a little pup. Surprisingly, she is still a sweet and affectionate girl who wants nothing more than to please her people. Nyla is super affectionate and sweet. She has a lot to learn but she is very willing and sooo smart! It only takes a few tries for her to catch on to a new behavior. She does need a family who are willing to work on her training. Having not had any basic training for most of her life, she is starting from the beginning. Her foster family is working on house manners, leash training, some brain training games and being polite. Sweet Nyla is so fantastic and has so much potential. She hasn't had much experience with other dogs and when she sees them on leash she will want to pull towards them. She is not aggressive in any way but very enthusiastic in her desire to see other dogs. She has played with another dog off leash and done very well but her leash manners need continued work. She will be such a fun training partner! Nyla needs a home with a yard. A family with kids over 10 is best for her until she learns not to jump up and can temper her enthusiasm a little more. She’s updated on shots, spayed and will be chipped. Her adoption fee is $495.
