Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Oso! This sweet boy was surrendered to us a little while ago and he is settling into his foster home very nicely. He was quite scared when he arrived but is blossoming day by day. We're not quite sure what his breed is but he looks to have some Lab perhaps - a mystery mix indeed! From his foster family: When Oso looks at you it is difficult not to melt into his adorable eyes and sweet face. Oso is only about five months old but is already so well-behaved and loving. When he’s unsure as to what to do he just sits pretty and gives you that look. He mastered potty training quickly, loves to shake your hand for a treat, and already loves to play fetch. He also loves water and will try to sneak into the shower with you. Oso loves to cuddle with us and his favorite time of the day is when he gets to cuddle in bed. He’s a puppy so he can get excited but he responds well to a stern voice. He is still a little timid and sensitive to any hint that he has not pleased you. We recently had a couple of large gatherings with noise, cheering, etc. and he did wonderful. Oso will make a wonderful family dog. He is good with other dogs and our cat loves him (she breaks into his room just to play with him and he is very respectful to her). We do not have children but I have no doubt he will be great with kids. Oso has been vaccinated and chipped. He is scheduled to be neutered on February 6th. His adoption fee is $495 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.
