Posted Breed: Terrier. Triton is my name, giving hugs and kisses is my game. You may have seen me on social media about a year ago; I was sort of a big deal. I am the handsome one found by a good samaritan that had an embedded rope around my waist. Well, I am all better now and even better looking (if you can believe it) and looking for my pawfic home! I love meeting new people of all ages and love playing with dogs of all sizes. I have to be in the mix of everything. Sometimes, I get really excited and get the jumpies and bark and my mom has to tell me to calm down because apparently I am a “big dog” and I get overexcited, whatever that means. I am just SUPER happy! My pastimes include treats, playing with a chuck it ball (that is my favorite), treats, running around, sitting for treats, stealing a kiss or two, more treats, laying on the couch, looking out the window, even more treats, getting pets, hand holding, playing with my brothers and sisters, did I mention treats?! Just in case you were wondering, my favorite treats are freeze-dried minnows. King Triton loves the best. I am around 2-years old I know: sit, stay, lay, paw, kiss and kennel up I can catch treats and toys, and I play fetch I am house-trained, kennel-trained, leash-trained, fully vetted, and treated for heartworms I need a dominant handler that can command with confidence Dog friendly Massive love bug and ultimate cuddler

A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds.
