Description
Luly is a sweetheart of a female dog. 7 yrs old, 54 pounds, healthy, spayed and up to date on shots. Very well behaved, friendly, playful and housebroken. A dog who chases squirrels or follows butterflies. A happy Labrador Mix! She can be a little timid when it comes to meeting men, but her personality is gentle and sweet. She would not hurt a fly. Luly was adopted from a local shelter. Her owners really love her, but Luly could really use a new home with a more relaxed life. Her family have found her to be submissive, and never aggressive. She has been with them for the last 3 years and is best friends with a tiny little Chihuahua Mix dog who is also part of the family. It is funny to see them play together, but Luly really is too big for play to get serious. Luly likes calm dogs and is sociable, though would likely prefer a home where it is her and her people. The reason why she is being rehomed? Luly is a sensitive dog and her owner suffers from anxiety too. At times this makes Luly more anxious. A vicious cycle of anxiety then ensues, which is not good for either Luly or her owner. They hope to find her a home where Luly has a little more relaxed environment with more chance to enjoy her own space and maybe chase some butterflies. Luly needs a calm home with seniors or retired dog lovers who can provide a safe, happy and healthy home without too many surprises. She would definitely thrive having a very routine existence, knowing what to expect each day from morning to night.
