Posted Breed: Maltese (medium coat). Cooper is more than a great dog! He’s a Maltese born approximately 8/12/22. He’s small and minds well, knows his name, knows the meaning of no. He gets along well with the multiple dogs in his home. He loves to play but is respectful of others not wanting to play. He sleeps in his kennel at night and does well when crated if I’m out of the house. Other dogs like him and are willing to play with him as long as he plays nice. He is house trained on a schedule and hasn’t had any accidents. He isn’t whiney for attention but likes companionship when offered. He travels nicely in a car in his crate. He is an absolute joy to have as a foster. He has not been around small children but my guess is he’d do great. My hope is he gets a fenced in yard or daily walks. He will need scheduled grooming every eight weeks. Last but not least, he is a smart boy who is very treat motivated. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
