Posted Breed: Shepherd / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 150. Special low adoption fee due to her sponsor. She’s super sweet, & playful! I’m ready to find my forever family:) my litter, was dumped in a box in the hot desert:( we were bottle fed & given TLC! I have a special low adoption donation fee as a sponsor donated to help me find my family and forever home! I am housebroken at my foster house. I'm dpayed with all my shot's including my rabies shot. I was adopted but their dog did not want another dog in their home so I was brought back. I love to pl with Bailey and need to be placed in a home alone or with dogs my size, as I am still a puppy. PLEASE GO TO: .tlcwithpups for more info. and my adoption fee that is on my main profile at my rescue's website. I have been given all my age appropriate vaccinations and dewormed. I may need more depending on my age, puppies continue to get their vaccinations and dewormings up to 14 to 16 weeks. If I am a puppy, I will have an appt. to be altered (at our vet) my alter fee is included in the adoption donation fee. I have been treated with Frontline for fleas & ticks. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
